Request for information (RFI) - Solution for perimeter surveillance - Invitation to information meeting 12. April 2019

Background Avinor must periodically perform inspections on the outer boundary/perimeter of the airports. This is a time-consuming effort, especially when the access is limited in some areas, and during heavy snowfalls or bad weather. Avinor wants to evaluate the potential of autonomous technology that can identify abnormalities in the perimeter. The perimeter consists of fences around the airport, including gates and sometimes parts of building structures. Abnormalities will typically be open gates, breaches in the fence like holes within or beneath the fence. It can furthermore be structures or objects close to the fence with the purpose to climb the fence, e.g. vehicles, hay balls, ladders, high snow levels, etc. Possible technology can be, but is not limited to, drones and computer vision tools. Information meeting Avinor will on the 12th of April 2019 (12.04.2019) host an information meeting for potential tenderers/suppliers/developers.
