Scope: Design and build of a new state-of-art BSH (Baggage handling System) at Terminal 1 - Oslo Airport, Gardermoen (Norway)
-New permanent and complete Baggage Handling System (BHS), departures and arrivals -Temporary check-in and feeding line for BHS -BHS for temporary international terminal A complete Baggage Handling System is to be understood as delivery of baggage bins and conveyors in the new baggage hall, new technical installations in the rebuilt Terminal A (existing terminal), baggage feeding lines, screening machine, reclaim units etc.

Invitation to web-based dialogue conference, October 14, 2020. Avinor aims to automate the manual baggage handling process between the baggage handling system and the aircraft. Avinor now invites to the part 2 of the dialogue conference, where we will focus on the forthcoming procurement process. Suppliers or consortia who can develop and supply all, or parts of, an efficiency solution for automated baggage handling processes, are welcome to participate, regardless of whether they attended part 1 of the dialogue conference or not. See invitation for more information and registration: https://avinor.no/abh
Invitation to web-based dialogue conference, June 17, 2020 Avinor aims to improve and increase the efficiency of baggage handling in the “last-mile” and “first-mile” processes between the baggage handling system and the aircraft. We are therefore working towards the development of automated baggage handling involving the use of automatic loading of bags into trolleys and containers, automated indoor and outdoor transport, automated intermediate storage, and automated unloading from trolleys and containers.
The market research done in spring 18 by Avinor showed that no vendor had a complete solution for the combinations of technologies that Avinor wish to apply for the automated arrival baggage scanning. The solution shall not only apply for arrival scanning, but also for transfer baggage and also introduce reading points elsewhere in the process. The solution needs to be adoptable for all airports where the system/Solution will be installed and also how the solution can be installed.
