Equinor Energy AS is, on behalf of Pipeline Repair and Subsea Intervention (PRSI) pool, tendering "Delivery of contingency equipment and services for handling of high voltage subsea cables". The PRSI pool is a cooperation of operating companies organized as a non-profit membership club. The frame agreements will be valid for use for all future members in the PRSI Pool. Today, amongst the 20 operating companies that are members in the pool cooperation, there are some companies planning to cover their subsea power cable repair contingency via the PRSI Pool, amongst these are Statnett, Aker BP, Shell, Neptune Energy and Equinor, representing an initial length of about 6000 km of subsea power cables. Further, partners to our current members, including but not limited to Statnett's interconnector partners TenneT Netherlands and National Grid, may choose to use PRSI cable repair capacity in the future.
