Digitaliseringsstyrelsen is planning the procurement of generic Hardware Security Modules (HSM boxes) and related software for cryptographic operations within the Danish State Trust Services. This procurement is part of a larger reorganization of tenders for the operation and continuation of NemLog-in. The estimated maximum total contract value is 17,000,000 DKK.

The tender is carried out by the Danish Agency for Digital Government (Digitaliseringsstyrelsen) as the contracting authority and sole contracting party on the customer side. In connection with the organisation of the Agency’s tenders for the operation and continuation of NemLog-in (divided into a main contract and an operations contract), HSM boxes and related software used in the trust services are being procured separately. This is due, among other things, to significant technical complexity and dependencies on specific software and hardware in the existing solution. On this basis, the following separate tender is, among others, expected to be carried out: The Agency expects to carry out a tender for generic HSM boxes (Hardware Security Modules) for use in cryptographic operations in the operation of the Danish State Trust Services.
