Brief

Sykehusinnkjøp HF har inngått en avtale med Edinburgh Genetics Limited for levering av helgenomsekvensering av opptil 1000 pasientprøver for Haukeland Universitetssykehus i Bergen, Norge. Tjenesten er en del av et prosjekt for å undersøke den genetiske etiologien til den sjeldne sykdommen primær autoimmun binyrebarksvikt (Addisons sykdom) og verifisere en tidligere GWAS-studie. Avtalen har en total verdi på 2,3 millioner kroner, og det var seks tilbydere i konkurransen. Leveransen skjer i Vestland, og det ble lagt vekt på forståelse av oppdraget og erfaring fra lignende prosjekter.

    At Haukeland University Hospital, located in Bergen, Norway, the Customer has a patient registry for the rare disease primary autoimmune adrenal insufficiency (Addison’s disease) with a corresponding biobank. Addison’s is a polygenetic disease with high heritability.
