SCK•CEN is planning the procurement of secondary systems for the MINERVA project, including manufacturing, delivery, installation, and commissioning of various systems such as process, HVAC, electrical, and building equipment, as well as finishing work for the MAC building. Suppliers can provide feedback and input by attending one of two information sessions, either in person on June 23, 2026, or via TEAMS on June 30, 2026, by contacting Peter Courtheyn or Jeroen Engelen.

SCK CEN is planning the construction of the MINERVA project (www.myrrha.be), which is the subject of this tender. MINERVA consists of two main parts, namely the 100 MeV linear proton accelerator (ACC) and the MINERVA Applications Centre (MAC). Two procurements are prepared to construct on the one hand the Buildings (Procurement Package 1, PP1) and on the other hand the conventional Systems and the finishing of the MAC building (Procurement Package 2, PP2). PP1 is at the end of the tender procedure. The objective of this tender, being PP2, is: For ACC: manufacturing, delivering, installation and commissioning of all secondary systems (disciplines: process, HVAC & dynamic confinement, electrical, instrumentation and control, plumbing and sewers, building equipment (e.g. cranes, lifts, shielding doors, …), fire safety, security and sustainability). For MAC: manufacturing, delivering, installing and commissioning of all secondary systems (disciplines: process, HVAC & dynamic confinement, electrical, instrumentation and control, plumbing and sewers, building equipment (e.g. cranes, lifts, shielding doors, …), fire safety, security and sustainability; and finishing of the constructed shell / structure of the building (e.g. screeds, dry-walls, floor finishings, coatings, suspended ceilings, …) itself. The cost of PP2 is more than 25 MEUR. Two information sessions will take place: on June 23, 2026, in person, and on June 30, 2026, via TEAMS.
