Anbudsoversikt for Request for information (RFI): Alternatives to wooden creosote pylons

Konkurransen er utgått uten at vinner er annonsert.
Creosote is used to impregnate the wood in the foundations that most power grid companies in Norway use to stabilize the pylons that carry the power lines. Creosote impregnation protects the wood from being attacked by rot and insect pests. The creosote impregnated timber has a long lifespan and is considered to be a durable material. However, the wooden creosote pylons are not neccisarily considered to be envirnonmently friendly. Thus, we invite you to submit information on available options (alternatives) to wooden creosote pylons that has a lesser environmental impact and which is fit for the same purpose as the wooden creosote pylons serves.
