Brief

Statsbygg is constructing the new Life Science Building for the University of Oslo and Oslo University Hospital on behalf of the Ministry of Education and Research, with South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority as co-client. The building will provide workspace for approximately 1,600 employees and 1,600 students. Ground and excavation works commenced in the second quarter of 2019, and completion is planned for the end of 2026. The facility will bring together diverse academic environments to collaborate across disciplines, developing new solutions to major challenges in health and sustainability, with access to state-of-the-art equipment required to support world-class research, education, and innovation
