Automated Weather Observing Systems, AWOS, are needed for 5 to 10 small airports spread across Norway, possibly with a future option of increasing the number of airports beyond the indicated 5 – 10 airports. The purpose of this RFI is to (1) inform the market of Avinor ANS need for a AWOS system, (2) gather relevant information to use in the upcoming procurement procedure and (3) to give potential suppliers an indication of what kind of requirements to expect in the upcoming procurement procedure.
