The European Commission, DG DEFIS - Defence Industry and Space, needs consulting services related to research for a pilot project over 31 months, with a maximum total value of 2,000,000 EUR. The project aims to define minimum technical, operational, and regulatory requirements for integrating EU Space data (Galileo and Copernicus) to support fisheries control, contributing to the development of standards and regulations for using GNSS (e.g., Galileo authentication) and Copernicus services (SAR and optical images) for law enforcement. Offers will be evaluated based on quality (70%) and price (30%).

    This procurment implements a Pilot Project.The pilot project will define minimum technical, operational and regulatory requirements for the integration of EU Space data (Galileo and Copernicus) to support fisheries control. Currently there are no standards and no regulations for the use of GNSS (e.g. Galileo authentication) and Copernicus services (SAR and optical images) to be used for law enforcement. The project will contribute to the work of European Committees for drawing up standards in the field of fisheries control.
