Vestland Fylkeskommune Skyss har inngått en avtale med Stadler Signalling Deutschland GmbH for levering av signalanlegg til Bybaneprosjektet i Bergen, byggetrinn 5 - Bergen sentrum - Åsane. Avtalen omfatter en totalentreprise for prosjektering, innkjøp, bygging og installasjon av et skinnesignalsystem, skinnebryterkontrollsystem, skinnebrytervarmesystem, punktmaskiner, LAN, sentralsystem, samt sikkerhetsdokumentasjon og godkjenningsprosesser. Prosjektet er lokalisert i Vestland, og avtalen har en estimert total verdi på 12 300 000 euro. Det ble mottatt tre tilbud i konkurransen.

Sporveien AS har avlyst konkurransen om levering av tekniske tjenester for monitorering av rullende materiell og infrastruktur. Dette var en rammeavtale for overvåkning og kontroll, men det ble ikke inngått noen avtale. Begrunnelsen for avlysningen er angitt som "annet".

Norske Tog AS trenger teknisk rådgivning for å levere modifikasjoner, reparasjoner og overhalinger over 4 år til en verdi av 1 milliard NOK. Rammeavtalen skal dekke teknisk rådgivning og arbeid på hele togflåten innen 40 spesialiserte kompetanseområder og 16 områder for modifikasjon, reparasjon og overhaling. To viktige formelle krav er at kandidaten må ha nødvendige fasiliteter og erfaring, samt dokumenterte kvalitets- og miljøstyringssystemer. Anbudets vekting er kostnader 35%, kompetanse og erfaring 45%, og metodikk 20%.

Vestland Fylkeskommune Skyss trenger bygge- og anleggskompetanse for å levere utbyggingen av Bybanen i Bergen, byggetrinn 5. Anbudet omfatter arbeid med dobbeltspor fra Bergen sentrum til Åsane, inkludert sykkelrute og tunnelutvidelse.

Jernbaneverket planlegger anskaffelse av et nytt Traffikstyringssystem ( TMS ) til å drifte det norske jernbanenettet. Dette er en del av fornyelses signalsystem basert på ERTMS (et felleseuropeisk signalsystem for jernbanen) standard . Målet er å fornye de eksisterende signalanlegg på jernbanenettet innen 2030. Fornyelsen omfatter Signal systemer, Utstyr i tog, TMS . Anskaffelse av et nytt TMS inkluderer: - Levering av en TMS som skal drifte og kontrollere eksisterende og nye signal systemer. - Relaterte tjenester (inkludert, men ikke begrenset til, design / ingeniørarbeid, installasjon, integrasjon, testing, godkjenning , opplæring og dokumentasjon ); - Støttetjenester Det nye TMS -systemet vil bidra til en enhetlig , fleksibel struktur for trafikkstyring.

Bybanen mellom Sentrum og Fyllingsdalen er fjerde byggetrinn for Bybanen, og begynnelsen på linje 2 for Bybanen i Bergen. Bybanens linje 2 fra sentrum til Fyllingsdalen består av 10 km ny linje fra eksisterende linje i sentrum, via Haukeland sykehus og videre gjennom byutviklingsområdet på Mindemyren, gjennom fjellet Løvstakken til Fyllingsdalen sentrum og til endepunkt næringsområdet på Spelhaugen. Her er også ny oppstillingsplass for vogner plassert. Lengden er omlag 10,8 km, fordelt på 5 km dagstrekning og 5 km i tunnel. Traséen har 8 nye holdeplasser, og vil i tillegg få 2 felles holdeplasser med linje 1 i Kaigaten og ved Nonneseter. Totalt skal det etableres 4 880 m dobbeltspor i dagen og 4860 m dobbeltspor i tunnel. Det vil bli etablert fire tunneler og en bro for banen, og det skal videre etableres to tunneler for gang og sykkelvei, en større vegbro og flere mindre veg og gang broer. De enkelte entreprisene vil bli kunngjort på Doffin/TED i perioden høst 2017-2020.
